Great app!

I was a runner 20 years ago before knee problems made me stop. Ive always missed running. This is the second app in the series Ive used. The Couch to 5k got me in shape to run my first 5k in years! Now Im working my way up to a 10k. Love it!

Love it

I have rheumatoid arthritis and never thought Id run EVER. I started with couch to 5k and moved to this one. Im in great shape and minimal pain. Highly recommend it!

Nice minimalist running app

I like the prompts and the log. The only thing that has given me trouble is using the app with earbuds. The sound cuts out about halfway through the loop. I just run without them and its fine.

Very useful

Ive used 5K-10K for a few weeks now, after completing its predecessor Couch-5K. I like that you can lock the screen during a workout to prevent accidentally stopping a session during mid-run. I like that I can play music during a run, and get prompts from the app 90% of the time. Reviewing performance stats is also helpful.

Great beginner app

I began with the c to 5k & then moved up to the 5k to 10k. Theyre both great apps to get you started & motivated. Pros: keeping the log, audio prompts, I like the large countdown to time left. Cons: it doesnt keep accurate running time. Now that I have a many 5k and a couple of 10k races under my belt I know how fast I normally run these distances. The last few times I ran the 40 min. run (5+5 warm Up & cool down plus 30 min. run) I noticed that my running time was way slower than what I consistently run this distance. So the next time I ran I took another phone with me with a different app & and used both apps for my run. The time difference was off by 2.4 mins. Also I dont like how the the next distance time is so small. Hard to see while running and in the sunlight. Work on these 2 things and it would be a great app for whatever level runner.

Motivating!

I completed Couch to 5K then immediately started 5K to 10K. I love both apps. I would have never come this far in my training without them !

Best training program

Sometimes feel like the distance gauge is about 95% accurate, but love this method of training. My friends that are using other training programs that require more frequent runs are all injured. Running based on time three times a week is by far my favorite and this app is very user friendly!

HIGHLY recommended... emphasis on HIGHLY

Active Network has been training me from a couch potato to a regular 5/6K runner (at the time of this writing). I just finished my first week of the 5-10k app and Im really impressed at the progressive way that it has been able make running a part of my life via positive habit. I literally feel better than ever, especially because I was able to overcome a mind state where I believed that running was simply not for me. Ive recommended this series to a number of people via word-of-mouth, and although I never write reviews, I honestly feel like Id be doing the world a disservice by not highly recommending that you work with their programs. Just stick with it, its easier than you think!

Good App

Performed as expected. I would like to see them integrate with Pandora or Spotify to improve the music functionality.
